Al-can was one of the first companies to manufacture cold-extruded aluminum CO2 cylinders for beverage services. Clean, corrosion-resistant, lightweight. While steel cylinders are prone to corrosion with CO2 gas as moisture in gas makes carbonic acid, which reacts heavily with steel cylinders. Our cylinders remain the ideal choice for commercial dispensing beers, lagers, ciders, stouts and carbonated soft drinks, as well as for use in kegerators and other home-dispensing devices like a soda machine.
The 0.6l liter beverage cylinder
The 0.6L beverage cylinder from AL-CAN can be supplied with the correct valve and fits perfectly in the following devices: SODA STREAM, QUOOKER and AARKE. AQVIA, WasserMaxx, SodaStream, Soda-Club and Soda-Fresh. They can also be used with the Electrolux Source or Asko Homepub.
With all of these devices you can turn tap water into refreshing sparkling water. With 1 CO2 cylinder you can make up to 60 liters of hot water, and it’s up to 5 times cheaper than when you buy bottles from the supermarket.

Why Aluminum Cylinders Are Better Than Steel Cylinders
Internal and external corrosion are the main causes of steel cylinders failing inspection or test. Aluminum cylinders fail less often. More importantly, internal corrosion activity reduces the oxygen level in the air. In the USA, we have two examples of oxygen depletion in steel cylinders (corrosion is more rapid instee)

The University of Rhode Island’s study of cylinder internal corrosion reveals that: Under equal conditions of moisture in cylinders, aluminium cylinders are much better, so air stored in aluminium cylinders may retain its quality longer.
